On the evening of July 18, 2023, Shanghai IVEN Pharmatech Engineering Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the 2023 Nelson Mandela Day dinner jointly hosted by the South African Consulate General in Shanghai and ASPEN.

This dinner was held to commemorate the great leader Nelson Mandela in South Africa’s history and celebrate his contributions to human rights, peace and reconciliation. As an internationally influential pharmaceutical engineering company, Shanghai IVEN was invited to attend this dinner, which further highlighted its status and reputation in the international community.

It is understood that this dinner took place at The Westin Bund Center on Shanghai’s waterfront and attracted guests from various fields including politics, business, and entertainment. Mr. Chen Yun, Chairman of Shanghai IVEN had a cordial exchange with the Consul General of South Africa prior to the dinner expressing admiration for Nelson Mandela.

After the dinner officially began, the South African Consul General who hosted this event gave a speech. During this time, they reviewed Nelson Mandela’s great deeds together and emphasized his important influence on the world and South Africa. They also expressed their respect for Nelson Mandela and said they would continue to strive to practice his values of equality, justice and solidarity. After the speech, there were also rich South African cultural performances, food tasting and interactive sessions at the dinner. The guests enjoyed authentic South African cuisine and participated in dance and singing activities in joyful music. The whole dinner was filled with a cheerful and friendly atmosphere.
